The Realme GT5 Pro is shaping up to be a disruptive option in the flagship segment, offering a price advantage over competing models from Xiaomi and other rivals, according to a report cited by GSMArena.

The price reveal stemmed from an advertising banner for the Realme GT5 Pro that surfaced in the Chinese portion of the internet. The banner indicated the launch schedule and a price tag of 3,499 yuan, which translates to roughly 43,500 rubles. If this price holds, the Realme GT5 Pro would stand out as one of the more affordable flagship devices by the end of the year, especially when compared with the Xiaomi 14 and Vivo X100, which are expected to start at around 4,000 yuan, or about 49,800 rubles, given similar specifications.

Early information points to a premium OLED display on the GT5 Pro with 2K resolution and a high refresh rate, accompanied by peak brightness reaching approximately 3000 nits. Performance is expected to be driven by the latest flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. The device is anticipated to offer substantial memory and storage options, with LPDDR5x RAM up to 24 GB and internal storage via UFS 4.0 up to 1 TB, enabling snappy multitasking and ample room for large apps and media libraries.

In terms of photography, the GT5 Pro is rumored to come with a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-900 main camera, balanced by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide module. A second 50-megapixel sensor, the IMX890 telephoto, is expected to deliver 3x optical zoom and up to 120x digital zoom, expanding the device’s versatility for portraits and distant subjects. Powering the device would be a 5400 mAh battery, paired with 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging to minimize downtime and maximize daily use.

The official launch for the Realme GT5 Pro is planned for December 7 in China. At this time, there is no confirmed information about its availability in Russia or other markets, though regional rollouts typically follow shortly after the initial unveiling.

There have been warnings about a fake Telegram channel impersonating Xiaomi around Android updates, underscoring the importance of verifying official sources before drawing conclusions about upcoming devices or software announcements.
