Authorized insider Digital Chat Station has leaked the specifications of Realme GT Neo 5, a sub-flagship model, according to Gizmochina.
The leak claims a 6.7 inch display with a 1.5K resolution of 2772 by 1240 and a 144 Hz refresh rate. The exact panel type remains unspecified, but OLED is the most probable technology used for the screen.
Performance is expected to be driven by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, a flagship processor from late 2022. The device is also said to feature an under display fingerprint scanner and a plastic frame. The camera system is highlighted by a 50 megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor with optical image stabilization, paired with a fixed 25 millimeter lens with an f number of 1.79.
Insider information suggests Realme GT Neo 5 will arrive in two configurations, mirroring the approach used by its predecessor. One variant is rumored to pack a 5,000 mAh battery with 150 W fast charging, while the other is said to include a 4,600 mAh battery capable of 240 W charging.
No official launch date has been announced for the Realme GT Neo 5. Earlier, analysts noted Realme as a standout brand among Russian buyers in 2022, highlighting the popularity of its devices in that market.
