OnePlus has unveiled its new flagship tablet, the OnePlus Pad Pro, which largely mirrors the design and core features of the original OnePlus Pad while introducing several notable upgrades. This refreshed model is highlighted by its position as the world’s first tablet powered by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, according to IT-Home.
The display gets a sizable boost with a 12.1 inch diagonal, maintaining a 7 by 5 aspect ratio and a 144 Hz refresh rate. In terms of audio, the Pad Pro adds two extra speakers, bringing the total to six, which enhances stereo sound depth and overall clarity. The camera kit remains practical yet capable, featuring a 13-megapixel main rear sensor and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
Despite the larger screen and chassis, the battery capacity remains 9510 mAh, paired with 67 W fast charging for quick top-ups. The device supports both a stylus and a magnetic keyboard, making it a versatile tool for creativity and productivity. The body is constructed from metal and is offered in two color options, gray and green.
Sales of the OnePlus Pad Pro are slated to begin in China on July 3, with four storage configurations available from 8/128 GB up to 16/512 GB. The starting price is listed at 2900 yuan, which gives potential buyers a sense of its positioning within the premium tablet segment.
Earlier industry chatter suggested Samsung was looking to trim costs on the Galaxy S25 processor, a topic that often intersects with the broader landscape of flagship components and pricing strategy. (Source: IT-Home)
