Motorola has unveiled the affordable Razr 40 foldable phone, powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, as reported by Gizmochina.
The device features a main poLED display that delivers Full HD+ resolution at 144 Hz, measuring 6.9 inches, and an external 1.47-inch poLED panel on the rear cover adjacent to the camera module for quick status checks.
On the rear, the Razr 40 carries a dual-camera system with a 64 MP main sensor equipped with optical image stabilization and a 13 MP ultra-wide lens that doubles as a macro shooter. A 32 MP camera sits on the front for selfies and video calls.
Performance is driven by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, paired with 8 or 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128 or 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage, giving a balanced blend of efficiency and capability for daily tasks and multimedia use.
The phone is powered by a 4200 mAh battery that supports 33W wired charging and 5W wireless charging, enabling faster top-ups and convenient wireless options.
In China, the Razr 40 is priced around 4,000 yuan (approximately 45,000 rubles). It remains unconfirmed whether it will launch outside of China, with international availability yet to be announced by Motorola.
