Lenovo has unveiled the international edition of the Legion Y700 gaming tablet, a device that previously reached only the Chinese market. Priced at 600 euros, it positions itself as one of the most compact yet capable tablets in its class, according to reports from the GSMArena portal.

The Legion Y700 features an 8.8 inch IPS display with a high resolution of 1600 by 2560 pixels and a 144 Hz refresh rate. Its display is bright enough for vivid visuals, delivering up to 500 nits of brightness and supporting advanced color processing with Dolby Vision and HDR10 compatibility.

Under the hood, the tablet runs on the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset, with options for 12 or 16 GB of RAM and two storage configurations: 256 GB or 512 GB. The built in memory can be expanded via a microSD card slot for additional flexibility. Lenovo has also equipped the Legion Y700 with Legion ColdFront cooling, which uses a dedicated vapor chamber to help manage heat during extended gaming sessions.

Photography and video capture on the Legion Y700 are handled by a 13 megapixel main camera and a 2 megapixel macro sensor, while an 8 megapixel front camera handles selfies and video chats. The tablet houses a large 6550 mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging, allowing players to get back into action quickly. Connectivity options include dual USB-C ports, with one of them supporting DisplayPort 1.4 to connect external displays or accessories.

In related news, Lenovo had previously introduced a laptop featuring a transparent screen and a laser keyboard, showcasing the company’s ongoing interest in pushing unconventional hardware concepts to the market.
