Yadro has opened pre-orders for its flagship Kvadra_T tablets, a design endeavor born from the spirit of Kazimir Malevich’s Black Square and rooted in modern digital life. This move was shared by the company through its press service, signaling a new milestone in home and professional tech deployments.
The device is built for both personal use and professional workflows. Pricing for the initial batch is set at 39,990 rubles, a figure aimed at balancing performance with accessible cost for a broad audience.
“The NotAnotherOne team, comprised of Yadro engineers and renowned industrial designers from around the world, contributed across every phase of the Kvadra_T project, from the early sketches to the final production,” stated Dmitry Cherkasov, CEO of Yadro Client Systems. The collaboration highlights a multi-disciplinary approach that blends architectural aesthetics with practical engineering choices.
The tablet operates on its own Kvadra OS, an independent operating system designed to work with a wide array of software and devices. It also integrates RuStore, a Russian app ecosystem boasting more than 5,000 services and a user base exceeding 10 million, offering a robust catalog for apps, games, and productivity tools.
Available in three finishes—Argentum, Graphite, and Serenity—the Kvadra_T lineup offers accessories such as a keyboard, protective case, and a stylus, available separately for users who want a more complete setup. These add-ons extend the tablet’s utility for writing, drawing, and navigation across both home and office tasks.
In April, a major business daily noted that Yadro is actively developing Kvadra, a native operating system tailored for consumer mobile devices, signaling a broader strategy to build a self-contained software and hardware ecosystem that complements the company’s hardware ambitions.
