Intel is reportedly preparing to unveil its Arc B570 and B580 graphics cards, with an announcement tentatively set for December 3. The reports note that the event may happen before the cards are actually available for sale, leaving enthusiasts waiting for shipments.

Initial estimates place the Arc B580 price near $250, positioning it at the low end of the market while offering a notable memory configuration. The model is expected to feature 20 Xe2 cores, a 192-bit memory bus, and 12 GB of VRAM.

With 12 GB of memory, the B580 would be the most affordable card in its class by a wide margin, since rivals in its segment typically ship with only 6 GB. Rumors also point to Nvidia’s upcoming GeForce RTX 5060, a lower-tier model in the RTX 50 family, delivering 8 GB of memory at roughly $300 to $350.

Market availability and early reviews are anticipated to begin around December 12, giving gamers an initial read on performance and value.

Even with the tempting price, Intel GPUs still occupy a niche segment. Steam hardware surveys show Intel GPUs present on about 7.3 percent of systems, with AMD at roughly 15 percent and Nvidia holding a dominant share around 77 percent. That limited adoption means many developers optimize mainly for Nvidia or AMD hardware, leaving some titles underperforming on Intel-based rigs.

Earlier reports hinted at a free version of a popular PlayStation game launching in China, signaling ongoing diversification in PC and console experiences.
