Infinix has unveiled the Zero 40 budget smartphone line, highlighting two variants: Zero 40 4G and Zero 40 5G. The announcement suggests that GSMArena shared the early details.

Both devices sport a curved 6.74-inch AMOLED panel with Full HD+ resolution, a flagship-like camera core featuring a 108-megapixel main sensor, and a sizable 5000mAh battery paired with 45W fast charging. A 50MP front camera and an under-display fingerprint reader round out the biometric and selfie capabilities.

The key distinction lies in the core silicon: the Zero 40 5G carries a sub-flagship MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor, together with 12GB of RAM and storage options of 256GB or 512GB. This model also offers 20W wireless charging and a 144Hz refresh rate for smoother visuals and scrolling.

In contrast, the Zero 40 4G uses a MediaTek Helio G100 chipset, 8GB of RAM, and similar storage choices of 256GB or 512GB. Wireless charging is not supported on this variant, and the display refresh rate is set to 120Hz, delivering a snappier feel without wireless charging capability.

Market availability shows the Zero 40 4G in Malaysia priced at 1.2 thousand ringgit, roughly 25.4 thousand rubles, while the Zero 40 5G is listed at 1.7 thousand ringgit, near 36 thousand rubles. At this time, there is no official confirmation about regional releases in Russia.

Earlier reports note regulatory moves affecting device accessories, such as wireless chargers, which could influence upcoming launches in various territories. These policy shifts may shape how new Infinix models are marketed and sold in different regions.
