Honor has unveiled the blueprint for its forthcoming flagship, the Magic6 Ultimate. The initial teaser appeared on the company’s social channels, signaling a bold move in design and features, as noted by the iXBT portal.
The teaser suggests that the Magic6 Ultimate will sport a distinctive square-shaped camera array. A dedicated reveal event is planned in China on March 18, where the Magic6 Ultimate will share the stage with the Magic6 RSR Porsche Design and the newly announced MagicBook Pro 16 laptop, which was introduced at the end of February.
In essence, the Magic6 Ultimate is positioned as an enhanced variant of the Magic6 Pro, bringing upgraded performance and a refreshed aesthetic.
The current Magic6 Pro reportedly ships with a large 6.8-inch LTPO OLED display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, and 12 or 16 GB of RAM paired with storage options ranging from 256 GB to 1 TB. Its camera system includes a 50 MP main sensor, a periscope telephoto with 2.5x zoom at 180 MP, and a 50 MP ultra-wide lens. For selfies and depth sensing, a 50 MP front camera and a 3D ToF sensor are on board.
Meanwhile, rumors persist about the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, with discussion centering on performance and feature parity versus the predecessor from the prior year.
