The developers of Hamster Kombat rolled out a new daily secret code, revealed as part of yesterday’s update. The password, first published on the game’s Telegram channel, reads “300 Kryptan.”
Players who crack the code during the window from September 5 to September 6 will earn 1 million in-game HMSTR currency. The entry method uses Morse code, and players access the feature from the Daily Code option in the game’s main menu.
In practice, a short press equates to a dot and a long press to a dash. To spell ONCHAIN within the game, the following Morse sequences are used: H is “- – -”; E is “-.”; N is “-.”; C is “- . – .”; H is “- – -”; A is “. -”; I is “. .”; N is “- .”.
The code remains valid until 22:00 the next day, at which point it is replaced by a new sequence.
Hamster Kombat describes itself as a viral clicker game hosted on Telegram. Players accumulate points by tapping a hamster, solving in-game codes, and collecting revealed cards. The developers have indicated that, once the in-game currency is listed on a cryptocurrency exchange on September 26, players will be able to convert those points into cryptocurrency.
Industry observers have weighed in on the potential challenges. Vladimir Smerkis, former head of Binance CIS, cautions that distributing tokens could prove difficult given the sheer number of participants. Blockchain expert Oleg Lupikov advises readers not to expect substantial earnings from the game, noting the volatility and uncertainty inherent in such ventures.
Previously, reports suggested a disagreement among Hamster Kombat’s creators could cast doubt on the project’s path to a crypto exchange listing. The evolving situation has kept players and observers watching closely as new developments unfold.
