Xiaomi unveiled the global editions of the Redmi Note 12 lineup, as reported by the GSMArena portal.

All three models—the Redmi Note 12, Note 12 Pro, and Note 12 Pro+—share a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution. In the base Redmi Note 12, the performance core is the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 processor. Its triple-camera setup consists of a 48 MP main sensor complemented by two 2 MP units, while the front camera shoots 8 MP. A sizable 5000 mAh battery powers the device and supports 33 W fast charging.

Moving up, the Redmi Note 12 Pro runs on a Dimensity 1080 chipset and underpins a 50 MP Sony IMX766 main camera. An 8 MP ultra-wide module and a 2 MP macro shooter accompany it, with a 16 MP front-facing camera for selfies. The Pro model also uses a 5000 mAh battery but delivers quicker 67 W charging to cut downtime.

Core similarities define the Redmi Note 12 Pro+, with most specifications echoing the Note 12 Pro. The notable differences lie in charging and the camera sensor setup: the Pro+ supports 120 W charging and relies on Samsung’s 200 MP ISOCELL HPX as its primary image sensor, offering potential gains in detail and low-light performance.

Global availability for the Redmi Note 12, Note 12 Pro, and Note 12 Pro+ is planned for India, with prices quoted around 18,000, 25,000, and 30,000 rupees respectively (roughly 15,200, 21,200, and 25,400 rubles). Information on when these models will reach the Russian market has not been disclosed.

Rumors in the tech community have also sparked anticipation that the upcoming Xiaomi 13 Ultra might introduce a refined periscope camera, potentially delivering a noticeable leap in zoom capabilities and overall imaging quality.
