Diablo IV Inspired Instant Rice Hits South Korea

Blizzard Equipment has rolled out a line of Diablo IV themed instant rice in South Korea, a move highlighted by the Esports Chimpanzee portal. The launch aligns with the upcoming first season for the game, titled Plague Season, which is already generating buzz among fans and followers.

The product range features six flavor profiles, each named after characters from Diablo IV. Among them are options inspired by the game’s principal figures, including Lilith and Inarius, presented as the dominant villain and the central hero respectively.

Beyond the culinary angle, each rice package contains a redeemable code. Shoppers can visit a dedicated website to input their code for a chance to win Diablo IV Collector’s Edition items, including an Inarius statuette, a gaming mouse pad, and additional memorabilia.

On social media, Rod Ferguson, a development director for Diablo IV, acknowledged the novelty of the rice launch in a post on Twitter. He hinted that some items from the new line have already been set aside for testing and evaluation by the development team.

Diablo IV arrived on multiple platforms on June 6, 2023, including PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Blizzard has paused operations in Russia, which means the game is not officially available there at this time.

Meanwhile, former developers of Star Wars Outlaws have stated that each planet in their upcoming project will be roughly the size of Greece, underscoring ambitious scale expectations for future releases in the action RPG space.
