Intel has shared the first ray-traced gaming tests for its upcoming flagship Arc A770 graphics card. It appears that the company will not back down and exit the video game accelerator market. Intel said the new card will be about 25% faster in games than the RTX 3060.

According to the tests fortnite, Metro Exodus, Dying Light 2 and F1 2021 really works better on the Arc A770. At the same time, in Guardians of the Universe, Battlefield 5 and F1 2022 leads the RTX 3060. However, this means that the top-end “blue” graphics accelerator will be “green” at the budget level. That is, there is no competition with the RTX 3070 and higher. And RTX 40 cards are on the way.

Intel also shared some tests of the Arc 770 at 1440p with and without XeSS enabled. This technology is similar to NVIDIA DLSS and AMD FSR. As you can see, this technology really increases the frame rate – sometimes almost twice.
