During the presentation of the three -month results, Tesla Musk said Tesla would think of a great success if he noticed half of the planned 10,000 copies. At the same time, even five thousand robots are the magnitude of the Roman legion, which can be counted at different times than two to 10,000 soldiers.
“I think we will literally build a legion: at least one robot legion this year, and then maybe 10 legions next year,” he said.
Musk said that the production of robots is a completely new field of activity for Tesla, and therefore the company inevitably encountered errors. However, he called these robots as the most promising Tesla presence, and stressed that it was difficult to exaggerate the importance of creating intellectual humanoid robots that can perceive the environment and perform tasks.
