Sales of post-apocalyptic shooter STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl reached one million copies just two days after its release. The developers expressed their gratitude to the fans for their support.
The game’s authors also noted that many more players are trying the game on Game Pass. Thus, the total number of players who have tried STALKER 2 clearly exceeds 2 million people.
STALKER 2 was released on PC and Xbox Series X/S consoles on November 20 at 19:00 Moscow time. A few hours later, the online peak on Steam exceeded 113 thousand concurrent players. On the second day, the record was 117 thousand.
Critics generally praised the shooter, giving the game a Metacritic score of 74 based on 58 reviews. The game currently has more than 18 thousand positive reviews on Steam.
STALKER 2 is not officially sold on Russian Steam. The game is also available for free to Game Pass subscribers.
