Russian video hosting service Rutube has started tagging channels in the page records of social network users with more than 10 thousand subscribers. writes about this TASS referring to the platform’s press service.

“On November 1, a law came into force that requires bloggers with more than 10,000 subscribers to register their channels with a special registration. “Rutube has started tagging channels that are already registered,” the agency said, citing a comment from the press service.

Video hosting has added a widget that will remind you when it’s time to add the channel to the registry. When the number of subscribers reaches 10 thousand, the administrator will see in the Rutube studio the button “Send information to Roskomnadzor” and a link to register the channel in the State Services. After these steps, Rutube will place the A+ sign on the channel.

“Bloggers are actively submitting their data through the platform, and the signs are already on the channels of Yuri Podolyaka and Dmitry Nikotin, as well as on blogs PLYASUNKOV, Senya in Business, Lunomosik, Pritula and others,” the press service said.

Owners of several large channels must apply separately for each.
