Google Play Store found 200 malicious apps that were downloaded almost 8 million times. about this reports Anti-Malware portal with reference to a study by Zscaler.
The infected apps were downloaded nearly eight million times between June 2023 and April 2024. Zscaler experts have identified seven major threats to Android users.

Threats include Trojan applications Loanly Installer (2.3%), Harly (1.4%) and Anatsa/Teabot (0.9%).
Additionally, the Zscaler report includes statistics on malware blocking on Google Play, which shows a month-on-month decreasing trend in the number of blocked transactions. This clearly shows that last year their volumes decreased by more than three times.
