Russian company Open Mobile Platform (OMP), owned by Rostelecom, announced the Aurora + program. WMD development director Roman Alyautdin emphasized that there is already interest in Aurora. He noted that modern cars are actually wheeled, mobile devices that are constantly connected to the network and exchange information with the city’s infrastructure and gas stations.

Vedomosti reminds that in June at SPIEF 2024, an agreement was signed between the companies Itelma, Rostelecom and OMP to create a new digital environment for Lada cars. AvtoVAZ produces more than 500,000 cars a year, and the services necessary to maintain the functions of the car will be replaced for them.
