There is no word yet on the opening date and location of the new X office. Musk also announced that his space company SpaceX will be moving from California. SpaceX’s headquarters are also expected to move to Texas, where the company already has manufacturing and research facilities and the Starbase launch pad. The Gulf Coast is where the Starship spacecraft is being tested.

Republican Texas Governor Greg Abbott has expressed his support for the business and its full relocation to the state.
