Japanese university candidate Waseda was accused of preventing the institution from using smart glasses with cameras that would help him solve problems. In this respect reports Kyodo News publication.

It was noted that on February 16, during the university entrance exam, the applicant posted photos of his exam papers on the social network X (formerly Twitter) and asked subscribers to help him. Thus, he managed to pass the exam.

Representatives of Waseda University contacted the police after a camera was found in the glasses of a young man who came to another department to take an exam on February 21. Therefore, the results of the previous exam were cancelled.

The suspect was a senior at a school in Tokyo at the time of the crime. He may be charged with obstructing the operation of an educational institution. It is not stated what kind of punishment the applicant will face for fraud while taking the exams.

According to the source, Waseda University requests candidates to turn off all devices and keep them in their bags during exams.
