The revolutionary smartphone of the future, Rabbit R1, with built-in artificial intelligence turned out to be an ordinary Android device and an application for this operating system. In this respect reports Android Authority editor Mishaal Rahman.

During the presentation, the developers claimed that the Rabbit R1 runs the proprietary Rabbit OS operating system with an integrated advanced LAM model that resembles an advanced voice assistant. As Rahman found out, Rabbit OS is a regular application that he successfully launched on his Google Pixel 6a smartphone.

Android Authority describes the Rabbit R1 as a standard Android phone with limited features. In response, the president of the Rabbit company said that Rabbit OS is not a simple application and that neural networks run in the cloud, not in the application. According to him, installing Rabbit OS cannot completely recreate the experience of using Rabbit R1.

Rabbit R1 is powered by a MediaTek chip complemented by 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory. The device is equipped with a 2.88-inch display and an 8-megapixel camera with computer vision function, as well as a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer.
