Xiaomi will update five Poco smartphones to HyperOS

Xiaomi has announced plans to release HyperOS firmware for five Poco smartphones. In this respect reports GizMochina portal.

So, between April and June, Poco F4, M4 Pro, C65, M6 and X6 Neo users will receive the update. Moreover, the latter was released in March 2024 and was bundled with the “outdated” MIUI 14 based on Android 13 for unknown reasons.

Additionally, Xiaomi boasted that it has already updated the Poco C55, M4 5G, M5, M6 Pro, X5, X5 Pro, X6, X6 Pro and F5 models in some regions.

The HyperOS firmware is the sequel to the iconic MIUI 14, but with an emphasis on unifying all brand devices in a single ecosystem, offering an enhanced user experience by introducing new features and optimizing performance. The current version of HyperOS is based on Android 14 and looks slightly different from the current MIUI 14.

Xiaomi also plans to expand the HyperOS update to other models, including its own smartphones and Redmi-branded mid-range devices. For example in March named All Xiaomi devices that will receive Android 15.
