Samsung is preparing to introduce its mid-budget smartphone Galaxy M55, which will have a large battery and a high-resolution front camera for the first time in the brand’s history. In this respect reports MSPowerUser portal.
So, according to the source, the new product will offer a 50-megapixel selfie camera. Moreover, even the flagship Galaxy S24 series is equipped with a front sensor with a resolution of only 12 megapixels. The rear panel of the Galaxy M55 will include a 50 MP main sensor with optical stabilization, an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle module and a 2 MP macro module.
The smartphone also has a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. The performance of Samsung Galaxy M55 will be provided by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip and the maximum memory capacity will be 12 GB and 256 GB of RAM and internal memory respectively. The battery capacity of the new product will be 6000 mAh with 45 W fast charging support.
Out of the box, the device will receive Android 14 with One UI version 6 user interface. Also, despite being a budget smartphone, Samsung plans to release five Android updates for it.
The exact cost of the Samsung Galaxy M55 has not yet been disclosed, but its predecessor is sold for less than 40 thousand rubles.
