WhatsApp developers plan to integrate a chatbot with built-in artificial intelligence called Ask Meta AI (known as extremist and banned in Russia) into the search within messaging. The neural network has already been seen in the beta version of the Android app, reports WABetaInfo portal.

According to the source, users of WhatsApp beta version 2.24.7.14 for Android discovered the ability to access the Ask Meta AI chatbot built into the search bar interface within the messenger. Thus, users can ask the questions they are interested in directly in the search bar, which makes the use of artificial intelligence somewhat easier.

Additionally, the developers will add several tips to the search bar that will help users and enable artificial intelligence. Users can quickly start a conversation with the neural network by entering their questions or commands into the search bar.

So far, only some WhatsApp testers are able to use the AI-based chatbot. It is unknown when the service will work for all users. It is also unclear whether the neural network will work in Russia.

Previously on WhatsApp acquired Neural network for image editing.
