Students of Pyatigorsk State University announced the creation of the game “God Instinct”, which will be a domestic response to the famous God of War series. The project is being developed on Unreal Engine 5. to write “News”.
According to project leader Timur Shaimuratov, a prototype with basic game mechanics has already been developed and the full version is expected next year. The project promises to immerse players in the story of a teenager who wants to avenge his mentor and seize an ancient scroll that gives power.
A distinctive feature of “God Instinct” will be the system of choosing the character of the main character and his subsequent formation based on the decisions made. Shaimuratov emphasized that, despite its external similarity to God of War, the project was inspired by games such as The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and TES V: Skyrim, where every decision of the player affects the fate of the character.
The game will be distributed using a paid model. The developers also plan to release two story add-ons. The first version of the project is planned to be released for the SberPlay cloud service, which will allow players without powerful computers to enjoy the game, and in the future on VK Play, Steam, Epic Games and even Android and iOS.
