DxOMark laboratory experts tested called it the best camera phone with the camera of the flagship smartphone Honor Magic6 Pro and placed the new product in first place in two ratings at once.
The smartphone has a 50-megapixel main sensor, 24mm lens and adjustable aperture from f/1.4 to f/2.0. Honor Magic6 Pro also has a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 180 MP periscope telephoto lens.
Experts note that the smartphone shows excellent results in various shooting conditions and is significantly superior to the previous model. Of particular note is the variable aperture, which provides extended depth of field at f/2.0 and ensures everyone in group photos stays sharply in focus. The smartphone also broke records in DxOMark in terms of background blur quality, natural color reproduction and the quality of pictures taken with the ultra-wide-angle module.
Despite some shortcomings, such as not always natural details and artifacts in complex scenes, Honor Magic6 Pro took first place in the overall DxOMark rating and the test in the premium smartphone category with 158 points. It is followed by Huawei Mate 60 Pro+ and Oppo Find X7 Ultra with 157 points each.
