Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite mobile chip turned out to be more powerful than the Apple M3 solution in the Geekbench multi-core test. In this respect reports WCCFTech portal with link to comparison result.
According to Geekbench 6 test results, the Snapdragon 12005 points respectively. So Snapdragon X Elite is 16% more powerful than Apple’s solution, which is an important indicator. It is also inadequate for single-threaded tasks.
However, these figures are still below what Qualcomm promises. Perhaps thanks to the higher power consumption mode (TDP), the chip can show better results in single-core and multi-core tests. However, in this case, the heating of the device will be much more significant and its autonomy will decrease.
It has not yet been announced when the first Snapdragon X Elite-based devices, including the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge, will go on sale.
