In a new promotional video, Google mocked Apple for not having Google’s Circle to Search feature on the iPhone. In this respect reports Android Headlines portal.
Google will roll out a search feature called Circle to Search on Pixel 7 and 8 devices and Samsung Galaxy S24 smartphones in early 2024. With its help, users can quickly find information about it by circling the desired object on the screen. In the promotional video, Google shows a dialogue between its Pixel smartphone and iPhone; here the first one explains the benefits of the new feature to the iPhone.
Circle to Search is a tool that has the potential to revolutionize the way users interact with smartphones by providing instant access to data about anything on the screen, be it an image, object or text.
So far, the Circle to Search function has only been implemented on existing Google and Samsung smartphones. It is unclear whether the innovation will appear on Apple devices. This isn’t the first time Google has advertised software solutions in such videos, but Apple has yet to agree to implement them on its devices.
