Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the Council of Ministers to consider issues related to the establishment of nuclear power plants in space. His words are quoted RIA News.

The Russian leader called on Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov and First Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov to set priorities on backlogged issues that require greater attention.
“This issue is important. <…> “We have competencies here that other countries do not have,” the president emphasized.
According to Putin, special attention should be paid to the creation of a nuclear power plant in space, aimed at its development and practical implementation in the future.
“Solving problems that can and should be solved with the help of these technologies,” he concluded.
