Mission Darkness has introduced a CyberCylent EMP Faraday car cover for the Tesla CyberTruck and other electric cars that will protect the vehicles from the devastating consequences of solar flares in the form of electromagnetic storms on Earth. In this respect reports CleanTechnica publication.

The CyberCylent EMP Faraday is a prefabricated car box whose frame is covered with a special TitanRF fabric composed of copper-nickel composite. TitanRF turns the case into a Faraday cage that blocks a wide range of RF signals, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, cellular signals (5G), GPS, RFID, NFC, and more.
CleanTechnica writes that this way the cover can protect the vehicle not only from electromagnetic storms but also from cyber attacks.

Solar flares occur regularly. Particularly powerful ones can reportedly damage various electronics on Earth. Disable some components, especially in electric vehicles.

CyberCylent EMP Faraday also has some disadvantages. First of all, since all radio signals are blocked, in such a case the machine will not be able to receive an important software update. Secondly, due to the composition of the fabric, the awning quickly oxidizes and, as a result, is not suitable for outdoor use.
