Bloggers in messaging who tested Yandex’s Telegram channel monetization platform for more than seven months earned a total of 275 million rubles. In this respect reports Russian edition of Forbes.
In July 2023, a tool for monetizing Yandex’s Telegram channels became available. During the entire testing period, 4.5 thousand channels were used, among which there were both large (with 300 thousand subscribers) and small thematic blogs with 2 thousand subscribers. The income of some channels with 2 thousand subscribers reached 36 thousand rubles. Channels with 13 thousand subscribers per month earn up to 117 thousand rubles.
Yandex tool is created based on artificial intelligence (AI). The neural network analyzes the topics of the channels and selects advertising posts to place based on them. Announcements are published by a bot added to the channel administrators. The ad looks native, meaning it has a design that is compatible with other posts on the channel. At the same time, the bot automatically transfers information about ads to the Unified Internet Advertising Registry (ERIR), which saves content authors from unnecessary trouble.
Forbes does not provide the full list of Telegram channels participating in beta testing of the Yandex advertising tool, only mentioning some of them. Particularly “Behind the Wheel”, Kadın, Starhit, Wday and many other channels attracted attention in the broadcast. Alexey Kopotov, deputy director of the Za Rulem advertising bureau, stated that in some months the income from advertising offered by Yandex was comparable to the income from direct integration sales.
Pavel Durov, formerly founder of Telegram published A new photo on Instagram (the owner of the company Meta is known as an extremist in Russia and is banned).
