Developers of the Russian action MMORPG shooter PIONER have published in-game posters on social networks, in the creation of which neural networks were used. In this respect says In a post of the same name in the game’s VK community.
“Across the expanses of PIONER you will find posters featuring the unique propaganda each group has. “Each one is thematic, and a neural network helped create them,” the message says. It was not stated which service was used to generate ideas and images.
This announcement caused mixed reactions among players. Some have expressed dissatisfaction and opposition to the use of artificial intelligence in the gaming industry. Opponents of neural networks believe that they reduce the value and originality of the product. Others were positive and felt that AI tools could speed up production, reduce costs, and increase developers’ creativity.
