“SILA” laptops received support for the Russian operating system

Russian “SILA” laptops will be equipped with the Uncom OS operating system directly from the factory. In this respect reports 3DNews portal with link to manufacturer.

After successful tests confirming the compatibility of SILA NK2-3404 laptops with the Uncom OS operating system, Russian corporate customers were able to purchase these devices with the already installed operating system and three years of support from the manufacturer.

The laptop is equipped with 13th generation Intel Core processors of the Raptor Lake series and is designed for use in a business environment. It is stated that it has an effective cooling system, a high-speed disk subsystem for working with resource-demanding applications and high build quality.

Uncom OS is a Russian operating system built on Debian Linux. It consists of open source modules that are open to security review by any interested party.

According to Uncom OS founder and CEO Nikita Kocherzhenko, this agreement is a step towards strengthening Russia’s technological independence and contributes to the implementation of legal requirements for the transition to the use of domestic software by companies by 2025.
