Russian studio Case announced that it has developed its own game engine called Case Engine. In this respect reports Hi-Tech Mail.ru portal.

The engine will be available free of charge to independent developers, but access to the source code will not be provided. To get full access, you’ll need to purchase a license, which will be available to organizations and major studios.

Case Engine will support various programming languages such as C++, Python and Lua, as well as CSE’s own scripting language. Developers will be able to combine these languages in their engine-based projects. Additionally, Case Engine will be compatible with DirectX 11, with an upgrade to DirectX 12 planned in the future.

According to the developers, Case Engine will be fully integrated with Blender’s 3D object editor, allowing developers to see changes to their projects in real time. For example, if a developer moves an object to Blender, that object will be moved to Case Engine immediately.

There are currently seven people on the Case Engine team and the engine is 15% complete. According to the studio’s official roadmap, Case Engine 1.0 is planned to be released in 2025.

Tecno’s previously miniature computer with a liquid cooling system accepted Nvidia graphics card.
