Honor introduced its new flagship laptop, MagicBook 16 Pro, with artificial intelligence functions, as part of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 technology fair held in Barcelona. In this respect reports GSMArena broadcast.
Honor MagicBook 16 Pro is powered by a powerful Intel Core Ultra 7 155H processor coupled with Nvidia RTX 4060 GPU and 32GB RAM. Since RAM is soldered to the main memory like in Apple laptops, it cannot be expanded. The SSD is removable and comes with a 1TB module.
One of the features of the new product is the presence of neural network functions integrated into the operating system, inherent in most modern generative artificial intelligence. For example, intelligent visual search is supported, there is Magic Text for compressed retelling of text documents, understanding of natural language queries, automatic subtitle generation, and text recognition in images.
The laptop also has a 16-inch IPS display with a resolution of 3072 x 1920 pixels, a 144 Hz refresh rate and a brightness of at least 300 nits. The computer has two USB-C 3.2 ports, two USB-A 3.2 ports, a full-size HDMI 2.0 port, and a headphone jack.
The laptop charges at speeds of up to 65W via one of the USB-C ports. The battery capacity is 56 Wh, which is enough for 10 hours of continuous operation. The weight of MagicBook 16 Pro is 1.86 kg.
The new Honor computer will go on sale in the second quarter of 2024. The price of the device was not disclosed.
