Samsung Galaxy S23, S23+, S23 Ultra, S23 FE, Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, Galaxy Tab S9, Tab S9+ and Tab S9 Ultra owners will receive the update. The update will bring the Galaxy AI features that appear with the new Galaxy S24 series smartphones to these devices.
Among the Galaxy AI functions, the Tone Replacement feature stands out, which can rewrite text typed on the Samsung keyboard in various styles and correct errors. In note-taking app Samsung Notes, artificial intelligence helps structure text, correct errors and provide insight. The “smart” voice recorder can transcribe voice recordings.
One of the most notable innovations is two-way (voice and text) translation during phone calls. But the function does not yet support the Russian language. These and many other features such as Circle Search, Chat Assist, Productive Editing, Instant Slow Motion, etc. will appear on Samsung smartphones and tablets by the end of March. However, more exact release dates of the One UI 6.1 update have not been announced.
