Russian hacker Flint entered the wanted list in the USA

The US Secret Service has placed Russian hacker Alexey Stroganov, known under the pseudonym Flint, on its wanted list. This has been reported Web site departments.

According to the service, from May 2007 to July 2017, Flint participated in a criminal conspiracy aimed at infiltrating the computer networks of individuals and companies to steal debit and credit card numbers as well as personal information about cardholders.

According to the U.S. Secret Service, the hacker and his accomplices collected data on hundreds of millions of credit cards and bank accounts.

A statement on the ministry’s website says Stroganov “organized the sale and resale of data for the purpose of making a profit” and also “provided intermediaries with access to databases” with payment cards for hundreds of thousands of accounts.

Middlemen then sold them on cybercrime forums and darknet sites. According to American experts, the loss of financial institutions as a result of this plan exceeded 35 million dollars.

Flynt is charged with one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud against a financial institution, three counts of wire fraud, three counts of bank fraud and three counts of aggravated identity theft.

Before that, US officials charged Russian citizens Artur Sungatov and Ivan Kondratiev for joining the famous hacker group LockBit.
