Yandex has released a version of the Kinopoisk application for VisionOS, the operating system on which the Apple Vision Pro mixed reality headset runs. I noticed this attention DTF portal. Thus, Kinopoisk became the first Russian online cinema whose client was adapted to the new Apple product.
The Kinopoisk edition for VisionOS provides access to a content encyclopedia as well as access to movies and TV series. The player has support for 4K resolution and HDR, and can also play files offline if they have been previously loaded into Apple Vision Pro memory.
DTF editors noted that attentive RuNet users might have noticed that the Kinopoisk version for VisionOS was released even before the official announcement of the application. The fact is that the service interface appeared several times in the video review of Apple Vision Pro on the Rozetked YouTube channel.
According to Vadim Elistratov, Yandex’s editor-in-chief of technocommunications, Apple Vision Pro “offers the best of both worlds: a giant image, HDR and 3D that does not affect brightness in any way.”
DTF quotes Elistratov: “At the same time, the built-in speakers reproduce binaural sound so convincingly that the illusion of being in the cinema is complete.”
It was before named The world’s leading TV manufacturer.
