Lies of P, the action role-playing game based on the story of Pinocchio, has received patch 1.5.0.0, which not only fixes bugs and adds new content, but also removes Denuvo anti-piracy protection from the game. In this respect reports DSOGaming portal.
Although Steam still states that the game is protected against piracy using Denuvo, no protection was found in the project itself after the update. As a result, a working pirated copy of Lies of P hit torrents.
According to DSOGaming writers and players, Denuvo’s removal from Lies of P was the result of an error by developers at publisher Neowiz and South Korean studio Round8 Studio.
Lies of P was released on September 19, 2023 on PC PlayStation 4 and 5, as well as Xbox One and Series X/S. The project is also available to Game Pass subscribers. The game received high scores of 80 to 85% and has a 92% rating (“very positive” reviews) on Steam.
Lies of P sold over 1 million copies within a month of its release. An expansion and possibly a sequel for the game is currently in development.
Previously in Russia significantly grew up game console sales.
