Employers are increasingly demanding AI skills from Russians

Compared to last year, companies are 7.8 times more likely to list AI qualifications in job openings in 2023. socialbites.ca learned about this from a study conducted by analysts of the Avito Work service.

Salaries in this type of advertising increased by 53%, reaching RUB 74,140. Experts working with artificial intelligence are often sought in the fields of IT, education and science, marketing, advertising and public relations.

Similarly, job seekers’ interest in artificial intelligence jobs increased by 63% in 2023 compared to 2022.

Additionally, experts conducted a survey and found that more than a third (39%) of working and/or part-time young people use AI technologies in their activities. Nearly the same number (38%) plan to start using AI in their work.

More than half (66%) of young professionals plan to improve their skills in working with AI because it will benefit them in the future. About 15% believe every employee should be proficient in AI. Only 19% do not want to improve their skills in using AI.
