More than 40 potentially dangerous ads for the sale of Apple Vision Pro appeared on RuNet last week. Alexander Vurasko, head of the Solar Aura external digital threat monitoring service at Solar Group, told socialbites.ca.

“The price of a gadget on popular advertising sites varies from 315 to 850 thousand rubles, which usually corresponds to the retail price of the product in the United States. Apple Vision Pro also appeared in the marketplaces. “In addition, there are several Russian-language websites offering to purchase augmented reality glasses, where further communication with the seller, as a rule, moves to Telegram,” he said.

According to him, it is not possible to say that all of these advertisements are fraudulent. However, caution should still be exercised because a mistake in this case will cost the victim a lot.

“In the future, there may be isolated sites offering fake device giveaways or sites offering to purchase Apple Vision Pro at a suspiciously low price,” Vurasco said.

The expert believes that fraudulent promotions with Apple Vision Pro are unlikely to become widespread, since the cost of the gadget is high. This factor significantly limits the target audience of potential victims.

“In any case, we advise citizens to be careful about transferring money to private sellers or unverified stores, including classifieds sites,” Vurasco added.

Previously the new design iPhone 16 showed on a high quality image.
