Russian robots were rented in North Korea

Russian robot Promobot started working in North Korea. Android was hired as a teaching assistant at various educational institutions in Pyongyang. socialbites.ca was informed about this by the press service of the Promobot company.

The project to introduce robot teachers was presented at Pyongyang University (North Korea). According to the developers, the project aims to modernize the country’s education sector. The Promobot robot will lecture, check tests and answer students’ questions as part of its studies.

The first educational institution where the Russian machine will begin to operate will be Pyongyang University of Science and Technology. Promobot will later appear in other universities and schools in the country.

North Korea is not Promobot’s first foreign partner to include the Russian company’s robot in the training process. Earlier, the android had started working at Oasis School in the Emirate of Ajman in the UAE.

“With Promobot, UAE children can practically master programming, electronics and mechatronics,” the company added.
