Murashko cited bioelectric drugs, such as a neurostimulator for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis or an analgesic implant that causes “numbness” in the nerve after amputation of a limb, as an example of the advancement of the technology. Corrective drugs for the treatment of obesity were also mentioned.
The minister also talked about 3D medicines with individual dosages for each patient and tablets with sensors that track whether a sick person is taking the medicines correctly.
