IBM, one of the world’s largest technology companies, encouraged employees who were already working remotely to move closer to the office and attend the office at least three days a week. According to the memorandum, only employees who need it for medical reasons will retain the right to work remotely. The rest must start living no more than 80 km away from their workplace.

“IBM is committed to creating a work environment that combines flexibility and personal interaction. This will make us more productive, innovative and better able to serve our customers. “As a result, we require managers and human resources managers in the United States to be in the office at least three days a week,” he said.

All above conditions must begin to be met before August 2024.
