— Could you please tell us what you did before taking over Killnet?

— I am the founder of the hacker community Deanon Club. It exists in the darknet in a forum format and in Telegram in a channel and chat format.

On the channel I cover some events in the darknet community, talk about some personalities and give advice and recommendations to other participants. Actually, this is my blog.

Other community members communicate in the forum and chat: they discuss orders, deals, work.

— Does the Deanon Club have any vectors of activity?

“First of all, we are fighting against drug selling sites.

– How exactly?

— In social networks, instant messengers, darknet and other online services we find accounts of people associated with this business. Let’s hack it. We then publish compromising information about them that damages their reputation. DDoS of other sites is also an effective tool.

– What about physical violence?

— As you know, various services are sold on the darknet. For example, there are mercenaries who are always ready to kick someone for money.

Killnet Rebirth

— Did I understand correctly that you bought Killnet at the initiative of Mega’s owner, Moriarty?

– No, Moriarty has nothing to do with this. Yes and Mega too. Buying Killnet is my personal initiative.

— What do you need Killnet for?

— The acquisition of Killnet is an expansion of Deanon Club. Killnet is a brand. I also wanted to include people in the group. Not just viewers, but also hacking experts. However This is largely a story of image.

— How much did Killnet cost you?

– I can’t give the exact amount.

— Can you specify the range? According to my information, the transaction amount did not exceed 50 thousand dollars.

— Let’s put it this way: Buying Killnet cost me less than $50,000 but more than $10,000.

—Who suggested the deal: you or Killmilk?

– No matter how strange it was, the decision to buy and sell was born spontaneously. Once again, Killmilk and I were talking business and suddenly we came to discuss a deal. They quickly agreed on everything and shook hands.

— Was the decision to sell Killnet related to the publication of an anonymizing article about Killmilk in socialbites.ca?

— First of all, you may continue to think that Killmilk has been anonymized, but I assure you that this is not the case (at the time of publication of this interview, the facts stated in the socialbites.ca investigation regarding Killmilk’s personality have not been refuted. — Ed .) . Secondly, if the information about Killmilk were true, I would not use the fact of anonymization against my friend.

– So you and Killmilk are friends?

– We have a good relationship. They weren’t like that right away, but they’re friendly now, yeah.

We met about a year and a half ago, shortly after the Deanon Club was founded. At first I despised him, wrote bad things about him on my Telegram channel. Then he got in touch, we discussed all the grievances against each other and became friends.

We had joint projects. For example, the Infinity forum. But it is no longer available.

— How did the former Killnet team react to your arrival at the helm?

– Negative. All managers who managed groups of different experts left. And the experts themselves fled.

— On your Telegram channel Deanon Club, you offer new hackers $100k to $300k for a single hack. Where does this huge money come from?

— Money comes from my business, special orders, media projects. At the same time, you must understand that I am ready to pay such money not to anyone, but only to real professional pentesters, those who search for vulnerabilities in other people’s information systems and exploit these vulnerabilities.

— What do you mean by special orders?

– Hacking people to place orders. As a rule, we are talking about eliminating competitors outside the drug business, for example, in the field of online casinos.

— How do you position Killnet now? What’s this? Is it still a pro-Russian hacktivist group or something else?

— Killnet is still a hacktivist organization. He will continue to deal with DDoS and hacking, but on a more professional level. Killnet shares may be fewer, but their importance will increase.

It is also important to understand Killnet is distancing itself from politics over time and refocused on commercial orders.

— Does this mean that you will start “working according to RU”? (in the hacker environment the expression “working using ru” means attacks on Russian companies – editor’s note)

— “Working according to Ru” is a stupid expression because many people attach different meanings to it. No, we will not undermine white companies. But yes, Russian marketplaces may be influenced by us.

— How do you see the Killnet group, for example, in a few years?

— I hope that Killnet will become an adult hacker organization that will become famous worldwide for its real attacks.

— Killnet has been yours for over a month. Was there anything you could call a “real attack” during this time?

— Yes, the hacking and destruction of Kyivstar infrastructure.

— Various groups claimed responsibility for the attack on Kyivstar. And all the evidence is suspect…

– I see what you mean. Unfortunately, I cannot explain the details of the incident, but I will say this: “Yes, what happened in Kyivstar is the work of many groups. Killnet played one of the leading roles in this.”

“Aren’t you afraid that your enemies will reveal your identity?” What will you do next?

— There are dozens of articles about my personality on the internet. Luckily they are all wrong. If someone leaks real information, I will most likely die faster than I have time to do anything.

– Why do you think that? It looks like nothing bad happened to Killmilk after anonymization.

– First of all, I repeat, the Killmilk dean was not real. Second, drug cartel owners are looking for me, and that didn’t happen in Killmilk.

— Have you been threatened by former Killnet members?

“Of course they were angry and expressed negativity on their Telegram channels, but this is all child’s play.

— Can you give one of the most important suggestions for maintaining anonymity on the darknet?

— I’ve written a lot about anonymity on the Deanon Club. In these articles, I have always stated that the main thing is to comply with the “clean page” rule. What I mean is that your virtual personality is in no way connected to your real-life personality. Never. Otherwise, they will quickly understand you when you make a single mistake; you will be lost.
