At the beginning of 2024, the debt of Google’s Russian division to local companies amounted to 20.32 billion rubles. In this respect reports TASS transfers data of Google creditors in Russia.
Over the last six months, Google’s debt has increased by about 145 million rubles, since the middle of 2023 creditors were talking about total debt of 20.17 billion rubles.
The last meeting of dissatisfied Google partners in Russia took place on January 18, 2024. Companies that requested 96.3% of the above debt amount from the American IT company attended the meeting.
Google’s Russian division filed for bankruptcy in the summer of 2022. The court then ordered bankruptcy proceedings, but the interim management uncovered evidence of intentional bankruptcy, an illegal activity in the company.
In 2022, the revenue of Google’s Russian office amounted to 24.2 billion rubles; this is 82% less than the 2021 result. The company’s net loss amounted to 10.2 billion rubles. FSSP has already withdrawn all funds from the company’s accounts “as a temporary measure for legal proceedings.”
