A pre-sold photo of a bedside table from an Apple Store containing the Vision Pro augmented reality headset was posted online, and its appearance sparked outrage among social media users. In this respect reports iMore version.

Well-known insider and Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman posted a photo of the furniture on his X (Twitter) account. It shows a beige bedside table that doesn’t stand out from the overall interior design of the Apple Store. Many of Gurman’s followers were disappointed by Apple’s decision to use such an ordinary product to promote a completely new product.

“Looks like they hastily bought the first nightstands they came across at IKEA,” wrote a user with the pseudonym Rcr_92.

In response, user heyderekj suggested that the vice president of retail at Apple would lose his position after such a mistake.

SnazzyLabs’ top comment reads, “Looks surprising… Not very good.”

Pre-orders for the Vision Pro in the US begin on January 19, 2024. The new product will be available in retail stores on February 2. It is expected to take 20-30 minutes for customers to try on and adjust the fit of the headset at the Apple Store.

The cost of the new product will be 3.5 thousand dollars, which at the exchange rate of January 16, 2024 will be approximately 308 thousand rubles.

Previously Apple for the first time passed Samsung for smartphone supply.
