Grant recipients will be able to use the funds to create content or advertise on VKontakte. The total project fund in 2024 will be 60 million rubles.

The program provides two types of grants: monetary for content creation and digital for promotion on social networks.

To participate in the grant program, you must apply, have a registered legal entity and have an open community on VKontakte with more than a thousand subscribers. Detailed rules for participation are published on the VK Grants website.

Acceptance of cash grant applications will begin on January 15 and will continue until February 22, 2024. Each applicant can submit a maximum of three projects. The amount of cash grants per recipient will be up to 5 million. Applications for digital grants will be opened in spring 2024, the amount of support will be up to 1 million rubles.

“The grant support program will help theaters, museums and other cultural institutions and projects attract new audiences, and young VKontakte users will receive popular content relevant to them in digital format. The grants will help take new steps in the development of the platform not only for large-scale federal projects, but also for culturally significant regional institutions, as well as for emerging talented writers,” said Maria Vorobyeva, director of the VK department for work with communities.

The number of recipients and the amount of support are determined by the coordination board of the VK grant program, which will include famous cultural figures as well as company employees.
