WhatsApp developers have added a tool for iOS users to create their own stickers in the messenger. In this respect reports The Verge’s edition.
While users can already create their own sticker sets by adding images from the gallery to the messenger, the new tool offers many more options. Specifically, it allows you to draw on custom stickers, apply text, and even add other images to them.
To create a sticker, you need to open the corresponding panel in WhatsApp, select “Create sticker” and then mark the desired image in the gallery. Della will open the sticker editor, where you can use the options described above.
Users can also edit pre-created stickers. To do this, you need to open the sticker panel, find the image you need there, make a long tap and select “Edit sticker” from the context menu that opens.
The Verge writes that editing stickers is also available on the web version of WhatsApp. For now, Android users can only view and react to other people’s custom stickers or create new stickers using built-in AI.
