Sber and Voronezh region signed an agreement on cooperation in the development of artificial intelligence technologies at the Russian exhibition. This was announced by Alexander Vedyakhin, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sberbank.
According to one of the top managers of a financial institution, the Voronezh region is one of the leading regions in Russia, and Sber wants to help the region develop as much as possible, primarily in areas important for its population.
Alexander Vedyakhin emphasized that this applies not only to education and medicine, but also to other sectors of the country’s economy.
“In regions where artificial intelligence has begun to be actively used, we see that the efficiency of services provided to the population has increased 5-7 times. Artificial intelligence can also be actively used in areas such as public services, and we are now seeing increased interest in this field,” said Vedyakhin.
For example, he stated that artificial intelligence can track potholes on the roads, unauthorized garbage dumps and erroneous behavior of economic institutions.

He explained that working with artificial intelligence in the region will also start in the health sector, and that artificial intelligence can not only be a quality doctor’s assistant but also help increase the level of education.
According to the Governor of the Voronezh Region Alexander Gusev, the use of artificial intelligence system is a resource that will widely reveal the capabilities of digital technologies.

The subject of the second agreement signed by the region with Sberbank was the development of long-term, effective and mutually beneficial cooperation between the parties in terms of the transformation of priority sectors of the economy and social sphere of the Voronezh region, as well as the development of cooperation in the Voronezh region.
